Judy Turner
Judy Turner is a New York-based knitwear label that combines a retro aesthetic with hand-knit techniques and luxury textiles. Founder and creative director Conley Averett launched the brand in late 2018 after studying at Parsons and honing his skills at Vladimir Teriokhin’s studio, managing accounts for top brands like Ralph Lauren and Oscar de la Renta. Drawn to knitwear for its democratic qualities, Averett states, "It's genderless, without you having to specify that." Judy Turner's aesthetic melds the Golden Age of Hollywood with unfazed 1970s hippie exotica.
