Founded in 2018 by William McNicol, William Frederick is a Cleveland-based clothing brand rooted in minimalist design, premium materials, and a distinctly Midwestern sensibility. Emphasizing small-batch production, the brand sources fabrics from Japan, Ireland, Belgium, Italy, and select deadstock materials to create understated, functional garments. Inspired by utility and simplicity, William Frederick seeks to redefine luxury through a regional lens while contributing to the revival of Cleveland’s garment manufacturing heritage.
