Position: Store Manager
Location: Dumbo, Brooklyn
Schedule: Full-time

Founded in 2023, L’ENSEMBLE is a thoughtfully curated boutique that reimagines shopping as an experience rooted in hospitality and discovery. Located in Dumbo, our space features an eclectic mix of renowned New York designers and unique global finds. We’re now seeking a full-time Store Manager to lead our storefront and bring this vision to life daily.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-first, design-forward environment—where storytelling, service, and sales intersect. As Store Manager, you'll guide appointments, lead the floor, mentor a small team, and ensure that every client experience reflects the heart and care that defines L’ENSEMBLE.

What You’ll Do
Client Experience & Hospitality
-Lead all appointments and walk-ins with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine point of view
-Create a store atmosphere that feels personal, inviting, and aligned with our aesthetic
-Build lasting relationships through styling, follow-up, and thoughtful clienteling
-Handle returns and exchanges
-Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards

Sales & Leadership
-Meet personal sales goals and help guide the team to reach shared targets
-Monitor performance trends and use data to inform strategy
-Collaborate on seasonal sales initiatives and in-store activations

E-commerce & Fulfillment
-Oversee timely, accurate fulfillment of online orders
-Communicate with clients as needed around online purchases
-Support styling and content development for product pages

Inventory & Merchandising
-Work closely with the Inventory & Sales Specialist to ensure floor-readiness
-Track incoming deliveries and contribute to buying conversations when needed

Team & Culture
-Lead by example—modeling care, accountability, and calm under pressure
-Help onboard and mentor new team members
-Collaborate with the Founder and Head of Operations on events, photo shoots, and special projects
-Assist with buying decisions, purchase order creation
-Support marketing efforts by contributing to visual merchandising, in-store events, and content production
-Foster a supportive, high-standard work environment

What We’re Looking For
-5+ years of experience in a retail leadership role, preferably in fashion
-A confident communicator and natural host
-Highly organized, self-directed, and proactive
-Familiar with Shopify or similar platforms
-Experience with sales reporting and visual merchandising
-Comfortable lifting and moving up to 30 lbs as needed
